Privacy policy

Controller

Contact form

Purpose: answering your enquiry. Data: your name, email address, message, the language of the page and the time of sending. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, if you ask about a contract, steps prior to entering into it (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR). Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply; you can also simply email us. Retention: up to 12 months after the last communication; if a contract follows, records are kept as long as accounting and tax law requires.

Message delivery via Telegram

Messages sent through the form are forwarded to us via Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc., British Virgin Islands; EEA representative: EDPO, Brussels). Telegram acts as an independent controller of its messaging service. Telegram is located outside the EU/EEA, there is no European Commission adequacy decision for it, and we have no standard contractual clauses with Telegram. Because of this, your data may be accessible to authorities of third countries and you may have fewer rights and legal remedies than in the EU. We therefore send your message to Telegram only with your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box in the form. You can withdraw it at any time (this does not affect earlier processing); if you prefer not to use Telegram, write to us by email instead. We delete messages in Telegram after 12 months.

Hosting

This website is hosted on a server of IONOS (United Kingdom), which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Transfers to the United Kingdom are covered by the European Commission adequacy decision for the UK (valid until 27 December 2031).

Server logs and abuse protection

The web server records your IP address, date and time, the requested URL and browser information to ensure security and stable operation (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 14 days. To protect the form against spam we temporarily keep a pseudonymised (hashed) IP address for up to one hour.

Visit statistics

We measure how the website is used with our own statistics, without third-party services and without cookies or any other storage on your device. For each page view we record the date and time, the page and its language, the referring website and campaign parameters (utm_*) if present, the type of device, browser and operating system, the preferred language of your browser and a visitor code; we also count how often the contact form is submitted (without its content). The visitor code is an irreversible value calculated from your IP address and browser details with a random key that is replaced and deleted every day, so it lets us count unique visitors and visits within one day but cannot be linked across days. Your IP address and the full browser string are not stored in the statistics. Known robots (for example search engines) are recorded separately. Requests are not recorded if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you may object at any time. Retention: up to 12 months.

Cookies

This website sets a single technical session cookie, and only on the contact page, to protect the contact form against abuse. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. See the cookie policy below.

No marketing or profiling

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR) and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, email sidtec.entwicklung@gmail.com; we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR), Galvaniho 7/B, 821 04 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

Cookie policy

We use only strictly necessary storage. Under Section 109(8) of the Slovak Electronic Communications Act (452/2021 Coll.) and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, no consent is required for it. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party cookies.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the website works without them, only the contact form requires the session cookie. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential technologies, we will ask for your consent first.
